PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

1. As we live in the newness of Christ, let us create room for Jesus in each moment of every day, we pray to the Lord.

2. As we live in the newness of Christ, may we, like Jesus, recognize that every human being is deserving of respect, attention, and effort and offer hospitality, we pray to the Lord.

3. As we live in the newness of Christ, may we give thanks to the LORD, our God, who found value and importance enough in us to send his son to reconcile us to himself, we pray to the Lord.

4. As we live in the newness of Christ, may our choices and actions reflect those of the God who created us, we pray to the Lord.

5. As we live in the newness of Christ, may clergy and laity lend mutual support in the common mission to lead all to God, we pray to the Lord.

6. As we live in the newness of Christ, may we answer Jesus’ invitation to remember whom we serve as result of our baptism into his death and resurrection, we pray to the Lord.
