Celebrant: In humility of heart, we offer our needs to God...

Deacon/Reader:

1. For the world that You so loved, Father,  that you sent Your only begotten Son into the world to show us the way. 

2. Help us follow Your Way in these times. 

3. We all have light and darkness in us, we ask You, Lord, to pull out the Light in us; so that, we can offer it for the good of Your world.  

4. For Your Church and its leaders, lay and ordained, work through them to accomplish Your purpose in this world You love.  

5. For Pope Leo and his intentions, we pray, Lord. 

6. Show all of us how to care for Your world in these divided times. 

7. Turn the hearts of world leaders toward plans and policies that benefit all people, especial the poor and persecuted.

8. For your priests, Franciscans, Dominicans, Jesuits and diocesan priests, deacons and lay leaders, raise them up as preachers and healers of souls  according to Your purpose. 

9. For those most affected and in need of healing of mind, body and soul in these conflicted times. 

10. We pray especially for those suffering cancer, addiction, discouragement and doubt in these divided times.

11. We ask for Your help in deeper discernment to know what is ours to do in these times. 

12. Show us how to pray and how to follow You this week in every situation we encounter.

Celebrant: Loving Father, in You we find freedom and peace. Hear us, as we pray, all in Your Holy Name, through Christ Our Lord. R: Amen.
