Celebrant: Earth unites with Heaven as we pray, and so let us lift our needs to God…
Deacon/Reader:
1. For Pope Leo, and for Bishop Luis, as they guide us in Truth and the Light of the Gospel, that with the witness of the saints, we may find our way to heroic holiness of life, we pray to the Lord…
2. For families, that as the workshop of holiness and the life of grace, parents may be guided in forming their children with integrity of heart and a passion for God in Christ, we pray to the Lord…
3. That through the leaven of the saints, we may rise to be servants of God in our neighbor, as a sign of God’s grace and mercy to those most in need, we pray to the Lord…
4. For all those in distress: the sick, all those gravely ill, and those who find themselves in the midst of conflict, division or war, that through the intercession of the Blessed Georgia Martyrs, God may grant them strength, courage and perseverance, we pray to the Lord…
5. For true discernment among the electorate of our country, that with the gifts of Wisdom and of Counsel, they may be guided as to those who may best serve the common good through public office; and for our First Responders and our military, as they safeguard our freedom and preserve a true and lasting peace, we pray to the Lord…
6. For our personal needs and all our concerns of mind and heart, which we offer to God in a moment of silence…(pause)… we place these now on this altar, together with our material offerings for the ministry of the Church, we pray to the Lord…
7. And for all our beloved dead, especially those who have no one to pray for them; that in God’s mercy, they may enjoy the fullness of His Presence, together with all of the Angels and Saints, we pray to the Lord…
Celebrant: Loving Father, with the intercession of Your Saints, hear our needs and perfect us in Your love, as we pray in Your Holy Name, through Christ our Lord. R: Amen.
