In thanksgiving for Pope Leo XIV who by his life and service to our LORD Jesus Christ shows us what it means to be nourished by the Word of God and become the body and blood of Christ which nourishes others, we pray to the LORD.

In thanksgiving for all priests and ordained ministers of God who remind us, as Moses did, that the LORD, our God, directs our journeying toward him and provides the food we need and the freedom from all fear, we pray to the LORD.

In thanksgiving for the values of sport – respect, solidarity and personal growth – which offer us the opportunity to become instruments of peace and unity, we pray to the LORD.

In thanksgiving for Jesus’ divine sacrifice which reveals to us the true nature of God and his loving relationship with us, we pray to the LORD.

In thanksgiving for the example of Jesus’ life, God in a physical body, and Jesus’ death, God shedding his own blood, that we may have life and that we may bring that life to a world that needs it, we pray to the LORD.
