Mini reflections on the Sunday scripture readings designed

today’s Gospel reading:
said to the crowds,
of you who does not renounce
their possessions cannot be my disciple."
and sacrifice are inevitably attached to committed
discipleship. There is no such thing as casual Christianity.
Are we willing to pay the costs? Do we have the resolve to
keep the promise of discipleship even when it requires
serious and ongoing sacrifice? Those are some of the
questions raised by today’s gospel passage.
